PRESS RELEASE - Timezone Australia's Newest Location - Rouse Hill NSW

Timezone Rouse Hill set to become Sydney flagship store

Sydney, NSW: Most Aussies have their own, unique Timezone memories. But Timezone has a story too – and it’s one that’s focused on family, friends, and fun.

A key part of the Timezone story, and one that ultimately adds to the memories made in our stores, is the people we choose to become a part of our team. As Kane Fong, Timezone Australia GM, explains: “The number one thing we look for when we appoint people to work at Timezone is: will they make our guests smile? Will they help them write their own Timezone story?” And in the case of Alex Campbell, newly appointed store manager of Timezone Rouse Hill, you can be sure that he’s already sharpening his pencils.

“Timezone is a platform for individuals to create their own stories,” says Campbell. “What excites me the most about working for Timezone? I’m able to bring joy to the new generation of children coming through. I’m looking forward to watching parents enjoying all the games with their kids. And, of course, coming up with new ideas and ways to take Timezone to the next level!”

Focusing on giving Timezone guests an experience that they cannot get anywhere else is an important aspect of Campbell’s approach, and he’ll be leading a team of 18 staff members to reach this goal. He also believes that Timezone Rouse Hill will add value to the Rouse Hill community in general. “There are a lot of families in Rouse Hill, and Timezone Rouse Hill will add another entertainment option for parents to choose from. It’s also a great idea for birthday parties.”

Dave Moreton, Regional General Manager of Rouse Hill Town Centre, agrees that Timezone is about family, and memories. “We are so excited to be bringing Timezone to the North West for the first time, opening at Rouse Hill Town Centre,” he says. “Timezone is a place where families come together to make memories. We can’t wait to offer the Rouse Hill community the Timezone experience!”

Of course, Campbell has his own set of Timezone memories: “I remember playing the penalty shootout game as a little kid, along with my cousin. We were taking 50 meter run-ups because we thought it gave us more power. Thinking back on it now, we must have looked really stupid!” he laughs.

Timezone Rouse Hill will open its doors in December this year, and is set to become the flagship store in Sydney. This new 1273 square meter store will be modern, bright and airy, and feature more than 80 of the latest, greatest games, including a state-of-the-art laser maze, four bowling lanes, three dedicated party rooms and a modern, open prize shop. Everything in Timezone Rouse Hill works off a super-simple tap Powercard system that stores your balance and the amount of tickets you’ve won. Limited edition Powercards will be available for purchase.

So, in the spirit of the Festive Season, Timezone, Campbell and his team invite one and all to come and join in the fun! And as if you need any more reasons to visit, Campbell gives you three: “Guaranteed fun. Great music. Awesome service. Timezone Rouse Hill is going to be a space where stories are born, experiences are shared and memories are immortalised!”
